Venezia e Firenze
Spent a week in Italy, visiting Venice and Florence and loved it. Ate far too my pizza and ice cream for my own good but saw some amazing sights and the beauty of the cities are just breath taking. I've been to Venice beforehand and I definitely plan on going back there again soon.

Monet Window Recreation
Having been inspired by door murals, I decided to have a go at using my own photograph and a painting by a well known artist to create a like-mural piece. So this is a painting I did in oils of Claude Monet's Garden in Vetheuil based behind a bedroom window.

Wyeth inspired Watercolour
Having looked at Wyeth's work of windows, I wanted to have a go at creating a typical Wyeth window painting myself. So using Wyeth's painting, First Snow, as a window view, along with a photograph of my own window sill, I combined the two together in a watercolour painting.

Andrew Wyeth's Squall Study
I've been looking at different artists in terms of windows and doors and Andrew Wyeth's work has stood out the most to me, and one of my favourite of his works is "Squall".
Below is my watercolour study of his painting.
