Trafalgar Square Pieces

A while ago, I made a few trip to Trafalgar Square in London because I was fascinated by the idea of individuals in a public crowd which I embedded into my AS art exam project.

My aim was to capture people in the process of taking a photograph. I sneakily went about the square, taking as many pictures as I could of photographers, regardless of whether they were obvious amateurs or professionals. This was the main reason I guess I chose Trafalgar Square; due to it's extensive range of tourists.

In response to this photoshoot, I chose two photos that I really liked and created studies of them in two different medium.

Charcoal and Chalk drawing
Acrylic painting
